Peace corps training update

     Hello,  it's been quite a while since i updated my blog. i have been doing fine, almost done with my pre service training. I have been living in a town named holeta. It's a suburban town located west to the capital.it's a medium size town. I have been living with an host family who have been very nice to me.  They (my family) gave me an ethiopian name 'awry', which is their daughter's name who is currently living in another country. I have been pretty busy with learning the local language, Going to class and also teaching. But, the teaching practice period is now over so i can focus on learning the language. Living in a semi big city has its pros and cons. Some of they pros are that you can find most if not all of the things that you might need, and a lot of people can speak English. Some cons are the level of street harassment which changes if you are African American and the look that I sometime get. although, i did realized that the more i integrated into the community, by talking to people, the less harassment i get in those areas. Overall the town is great and most of the people that i have met have been pretty understanding. I will take pictures of me and my family later and post them here if possible.

      Bonjour, ça fais quelque temps depuis que j'ai partager ma blogue. Je vais très bien. Je suis presque terminée avec mon entraînement. En ce moment j'habite dans une ville appelé, holeta, située à l'ouest de la capitale près  de 40 minutes à  voiture. Je vis avec une famille éthiopienne qui est très gentille avec moi. Ma famille m'a donné un nom éthiopien 'awry'. l'une de miss soeurs porte ce nom et couramment vie dans un autre pays. j'étais très occupée pars ce que j'étudiais la langue locale, attendre des conférences et aussi enseigner. La s'entraîne dernière j'ai terminé avec l'enseignement de pratique. Maintenant j'ai seulement la langue et les conférences. Ma ville est semi urbane, c'est à dire aims y a de bonnes et mauvaises qualités. Quelques bonnes qualités sont que je peux trouver et acheter près ce que tout que j'ai besoin et beaucoup de gens parle l'anglais. L'une des mauvaises qualités est le niveau de dissatisfaction que je reçois pars ce que je suis noire. Mais j'ai remarqué que lors ce que je parle et communiqué avec les gens,  je reçois moins harassment. En tout ma ville est bonne and plus fort des gens sont très gentilles. Je prendrai des photos avec ma famille and peut être je les partagerai ici.

        ほはようございますいさしぶりです。私元気でえう。今プレサービスのつライニングをします。ホレターという町に住んでいます。首都の近いです。小さくなくて大きくないも。ホストファミリーと住んでいます。いい人です。エチオピアの名前にくれて"あり"です。ホストお姉さん名前だけど今ほかの国に住んでいます。先週までとても忙しかったです。言語学のクラスとﾐﾁﾝｸﾞと練習のクラスを教えました. でも練習のクラスを終わりました。ホレたに住んでいる時いい事も悪い事があります。いい事は何にも買えるつもりだ買える所にいます。 そしてたくさん人は英語を話します。悪い事はこの国たくさん人アメリカに黒人がいません。黒人
はアプリかだけ住んでいます。でも人と話してその後悪い物を話しません。来週ホストファミリーと一緒写真を撮ってたぶんここに置きます。
